30 Questions to ask kids about their school day

Published on Wed Apr 3 2019 in Family

As any parent will tell you, children aren’t always keen to talk about their day at school. The question, “How was school today?” is often met with short, one-word answers—if they give one at all! Boredom, fear, anxiety and many other feelings might leave even the littlest students tight lipped when they get home.

Instead of asking the question they’ll be expecting, you might try a new approach. Asking kids more creative questions could get them to think about school in a different way and start to open up.
