We will not pay a Life Insurance Benefit if you or your insured Partner dies or has a Terminal Illness directly or indirectly as a result of intentional or deliberate self-inflicted injury within the first 13 months of the Policy Acceptance Date or any insured Benefit increase (that is not an Automatic Sum Insured increase) or Policy reinstatement date.
We will also not pay a Life Insurance Benefit where we have agreed any special terms with you that specifically excludes the event or condition leading to the claim. We will agree to any special terms with you before the Policy Acceptance Date and they will appear on your Policy Schedule.
